I have clicked the download button for the freeware version of DVD Region Free software, but what arrives is the setup for Version 5.9.8.3, which is not free, and also does not name a price that is to be charged after the 30 day evaluation period. I am not certain, but this computer may be a 64-bit Windows 7. Would that affect the download?

You get this version of the software because there is no other available. The official website is not working and it gives a Server not found error. This means that you will have to use another application for this purpose. My advice is to use DVDFab. Access the official website and download a trial version of the software. There was DvdDecrypter as freeware but the product isn't supported anymore.
