Curious, I've had version 3.3 since 2004 on XP and am now using the same version on 7, 8.1, and 10 with no problems using WMP.

I had an old version of this on my XP machine that worked beautifully. I've updated to Windows 7, and installed WinDVD Pro 11, and now it no longer functions. It says it is running, but my DVD drive insists on switching regions anyhow, so the 2 pieces of software are not interacting. I've been looking for a fix, but there does not seem to be one and I am very disappointed.

I had the same problem with Windows 8.1 and am still having it with Windows 10. Has anyone found a fix for this?

DVD Region Free was updated and renamed to DVD Region+CSS Free. Try version 5.9, it worked with my Win7 64bit Pro + WMP.
